Who am I?
My name is Mike Turner. I live in Doha,
Qatar, and I am the Head of Science at Park
House English School. My previous post was teaching Physics at Rudheath
High School in Cheshire, England. My main interests are sport, especially
cricket and football, science, technology and nature. I am a keen follower of
Witton Albion F.C. and I used to run
the Albion website until I emigrated, and I play cricket for Weaverham
Cricket Club. I attended Sir John Deane's Grammar School in the late 70s,
and have scanned in a copy of the 1978 panoramic school photo - if anyone recognises
themself or anyone else on the photo, feel free to get in touch for the 'Where
are they now?' section of my site.
On this site I am developing a science
teaching resource area. This contains mainly files that I have produced, with
some links to other areas.
'Central Grounder - the Witton Albion web
magazine' is a site that I used to run. This is temporarily out of action, while
I redevelop it. The Albion Online site contains a great deal of information
about the club, including up to date results and statistics, and has an active,
full-featured message board.
I hope you like my site, and find it interesting
and of some use to you.
